Design

Experience warm Nordic minimalism that feeds all your senses. Space that doesn’t shout but rather whispers. A calm background allowing your eyes to rest on Arctic nature and thoughts run freely.

No mediocricity nor generic luxury - a real sense of place. The property is reimagined by its owner-architects and thoughtfully renovated in 2024 and 2025. Everything here was chosen around the same question: does this do justice to where we are?

The rooms are generous in size. The material palette combines natural wood and pure wool with soft, muted tones. Curated vintage items sit alongside iconic Scandinavian design and customized design solutions. The history of the building still present, gently reshaped into timeless, sustainable interior that is deeply rooted in its surroundings.

Property Development

Pikku-Syöte’s long-term vision is to become a year-round destination for domestic and international travelers while creating lasting value for the local community.

The existing property was built 1994-2007. The property development took place between 2024-2025 and marks the first phase of our destination development. The project was co-founded by European Union. By combining thoughtful renovations, enhanced guest comfort, and a thorough design narrative, we laid the foundation for the next chapter of Pikku-Syöte.

We have prioritized timeless design, durable materials, and high-quality furnishings built to stand the test of time. Having ownership and design expertise hand in hand has allowed us to make long-term decisions that balance guest experience, aesthetics, and environmental responsibility.

Rather than following short-lived design trends, our aim is to create spaces that remain attractive and functional for years to come, reducing the need for unnecessary renovations and lowering lifecycle emissions. Our material selections emphasize sustainability, durability, and the best of Nordic design.
